Patties are non-purchasable, so you have to kill customers walking around and turn them into patties. The planet's alien composition has a composition that loves each other's patties. For example, the planet Libadonia maintains a relationship that rotates in the order Sahti -> Rudus -> Mikanien -> Sahti, so supply is not a problem as long as you get kills evenly.
In this game, there is a resource called stamina, so if you swing the cleaver wildly, you can't attack and it is easy to die. So hit accurately.
There are few ways to kill aliens with a cleaver:
- Attack when the enemy whiffed their attack by moving slightly, then slice them
- Repeatedly attack them without giving them any chance to retaliate
- Stab them right away when they get stun by other alien
It's best to deal with aggressive aliens using first or second option. Passive alien must be dealt with the second option as quickly as possible. Third option is not really a good option since most of the time the other alien is still nearby anyway
Using cleaver will cover you with blood (Except under certain circumstances like Mubler) and unless you want to attract attention it must be washed in the yellow sink near the toilet. When you walk around with blood, the suspicion gauge of aliens in the same area starts to rise (area is divided by doors). Aliens in other zones are unaffected. Usually, the suspicion gauge decreases again some times after you leave the area. Except in special cases such as Kifker or Guardian. It does not decrease the suspicion gauge until it reaches 100 while the latter instantly gain 90 suspicion and never decreases.
When the Suspicion Gauge reaches 100, the guests gain a Surveillance Area. If you come within range, depending on the alien's personality, it will either attack or panic and run away. You can use it to lure them into traps or make them run away.
Some aliens have cleaver immunity, and if you attack them, their suspicion gauge fills up partially. If the trap is used but the alien has immunity to said traps, the suspicion gauge will immediately maxed out.
The stun doesn't do damage, but if an alien is stunned, the suspicion gauge won't fill up even if you kill an alien next to it or are in a blood bathed state. It's also defenseless, so you can kill with plenty of room.
One other factor that can make hunting easier is using sauce. In particular, aliens fed with Tinotpyrk Sauce can be strip of all of their immunity.
If you have invisibility, you can avoid the alien if you are at a disadvantage in battle. The suspicion gauge and watch range are still maintained, but if the alien is listening to the jukebox, you can hide and activate the jukebox to get over the crisis. If you don't have a jukebox trap or the opponents are immune, use invisibility and get out of sight. Time is short, so you don't get stuck into a corner and have nowhere to run.
The remote control can not only activate it, but also turn on and off the automatic corpse removal and motion sensor. It can be used for various applications, such as being silent when entering and then killing when exiting, luring using a corpse, or making an assassination more convenient.
When you initiate combat, game speed control is deactivated. It is recommended to plan and set up in advance.
